Shore founder, Simon Crawford – once a 23-year-old student with a passion for water sports who just wanted to live the beach lifestyle – first established Shore back in the spring of 1982.

The business originally started by hiring out surfboards, windsurfers, surf kayaks. Now, not only are we celebrating 35 incredible years in surf retail but we have grown into one of the largest UK surf shops with a massive range of water sporting equipment, working with exciting brands such as Red Paddle Co to get people on the water with the best equipment possible to allow the to have a truly authentic experience.

Our Flag Ship Store is just 7 miles south of the City of Chichester on the South Coast of the UK. Located just 100 yards from one of the best breaks in the region. The store spans over 5,000 square feet of fashion, wetsuits and hardware.

We also run a hire centre on the beach where you can test out all the kit we have retailing in our store
