Amazing bag... can't fault it

At first I thought the bagless carry system was a bit of a gimmick but having used it today for an A2B route where Uber was the other shuttle driver this really came into its own allowing me to conveniently carry the board pump and day bag without any hassle at all.

Overall the rest of the bag is exactly what you would expect from red equipment, high quality and with carefully thought out designed features clearly born out of experience. It is one of the pricier bags on the market, but there is definitely an element of you-get-what-you-pay-for in this case.

The only thing I would have liked to see is a dry bag included that is the right size for the Titan 2 pump. I have many dry bags and none of them seem to fit it conveniently. Whenever you really need to use a bagless carry system you have to be carrying the pump with you in order to inflate the board, but you don't really want to immerse it in water - I'm sure that wouldn't do any good, so this would be a great new feature!

Perfect, just what I was looking for

I bought this Red ATB bag, a 30l Red roll top dry bag and the Red dry robe compression bag to use on my SUP adventures.

I own a 13ft Quroc allwater touring board and although Quroc supplied a 60l dry bag and wheeled board bag, I found these not ideal for what I wanted, especially as I wanted to travel on public transport and I didn't want the inconvenience of a wheeled bag to carry on my SUP on the water.

Then I saw this bag, I knew it was v what in was looking for and contacted Red customer services with the rolled up size of my SUP and asked if it would fit it, which it did.

I have a 30l ITIWIT dry bag and find the handle digs into my hand compared to the red 30l roll top dry bag, which is super comfortable to hold.

I have packed my board, my carbon paddle, my pump and hose, my bouyancy aid and water bottle on to the skeleton carrying frame and it fits, perfectly safe and secure, easily and without any fuss. I have all my other SUP bits and bobs plus the dry robe bag in the roll top dry bag. The dry robe bag I intend to use to put the skeleton frame into to keep dry on the water.

I am 6'1" tall, with the red 30l dry bag full and dangling from my arm and carried by the handle it is long enough to put everything in and short enough not to drag on the ground. I intend to order another to put my camping gear in and to balance the weight when I carry everything.

All in all I have found this bag meets and exceeds my needs to travel with my SUP and gear to my destination on…
