Autumn Winter 2026

Built for the Elements

Explore

The light changes, the temperature drops and familiar places feel different.

Autumn and winter bring colder water, wilder weather and days that rarely go exactly to plan. But they also bring quieter mornings, open coastlines and moments by the water that can feel all the more rewarding.

Built for the Elements celebrates everything that keeps us coming back, even when the days get colder and the weather closes in.

There is something about being by the water in autumn and winter.

The air feels sharper. The landscape shifts. The places we know take on a different character, giving us space to breathe, explore and escape from the everyday.

It is a season of early starts, open roads and plans made without waiting for the perfect forecast. Of cold hands wrapped around a warm drink. Of getting into the water, warming up afterwards and staying for the conversation. Of finding quiet on your own and connection with others.

The weather is a part of the story

Autumn and winter ask a little more of us. Plans change. Rain arrives. The wind picks up and the temperature drops.

But the weather can also bring a place to life. It can clear the crowds, sharpen the senses and turn an ordinary morning into something memorable.

Built for the Elements is not about battling the conditions or chasing extremes. It is about having the confidence to get outside, keep going and make more of the day, whatever the forecast brings.

It is protection for real weather and real life. For the journey there, the time by the water and everything that happens afterwards.

Red on the Road

West of Here

We left Red HQ in South Devon and took to the road. Travelling across Ireland with Red ambassadors and a close-knit creative crew, we followed the water through changing landscapes, unpredictable weather and communities shaped by life beside it.

Along the way, we met swimmers, surfers, paddlers and outdoor adventurers. We joined them in the water, listened to their stories and discovered the rituals, relationships and reasons that bring them back throughout the year.

The result is Red on the Road: a collection of films, photographs and stories about the people we met, the places we travelled through and the moments that reminded us why Life’s Better by the Water.

Stay Out There

Everything we make begins with how people genuinely spend time outside.

For the season ahead, Built for the Elements brings together technical waterproof outerwear, changing robes and waterproof bags designed to help you stay warm, dry, protected and ready for whatever the day brings.

From cold-water mornings and exposed coast paths to wet school runs, winter sidelines and long journeys with muddy kit, each product has a different role. Together, they give you more freedom to keep going, stay longer and make more of the season.
