The shop in Australia offers a wide range of Red Paddle Co inflatable SUP’s and has been awarded our Preferred Retailer status.

12 years ago SUP Gear Australia was founded as Stand Up Paddle Boarding took new heights in Australia. Originally established by Steve and Penny Piper the company has expanded and is now operated by avid paddler, Kieran Plim. Whilst he has always been an outdoor enthusiast it was only when he discovered stand up paddle boarding that he began a whole new way of life and even took to competing in SUP events around Australia.

Located centrally between Sydney and the Northern beaches on Pittwater Road, North Manly, the shop is open seven days a week and is the ideal place to discuss all things SUP. The team (and mascot dog Kevin) are experts on everything Red Paddle Co and will be able to help you find your perfect inflatable paddle board.

Kieran’s goal has always been to get as many people on the water as possible and to get them hooked (like himself). But it has to start with the right product for the job. That’s why they focus on where you want to SUP, how you want to SUP and why you want to SUP. It’s all about you, because if you love it as much as they do then you’ll keep coming back for more and the team could talk SUP all day every day!

Everyone has their own paddling style – so SUP Gear Australia expanded their range to include the entire Red Paddle Co fleet. Whether it be surfing at your local break point, lake cruising with friends or even just getting the very first taste of how it feels to walk on water, the shop will have the ideal board for you. What’s more they also sell every accessory they can think of to help you enjoy your paddling, from sunglasses and rash vests to premium Red Original items.

Once a month the team host a demo day at Balmoral Beach during the summer so you can test out a variety of boards for yourself. On hand to give expert advice you can trial as many boards as you like.
