To help preserve fabric performance, wipe away light surface marks with a damp cloth.
Machine wash at 30°C only when a deeper clean is required.
Fasten all zips before washing.
Tumble dry on low – or turn inside-out to dry naturally.
Reproof with Grangers, Nikwax or similar every five washes to maintain DWR performance.

Storm Boelo? Achievement unlocked!

I took this set out for a proper test run on Saturday to Belstone on Dartmoor during some immensely challenging conditions and it did not miss a beat!!

These are now my favourite piece of outdoor clothing by far. I don’t usually like fleece lined trousers as they get too warm but the light construction and type of fleece used is so good getting too warm isn’t a factor. The slight water ingress at the boot zips was unnoticeable and I still found them to be lofty and away from the skin/dry on the inside even when drenched on the outside. The built in belt is a handy feature and easy to adjust when the trousers are wet and a bit heavier. This delivers high performance warmth while the materials used for the outer shell are lightweight and very waterproof. The materials also ensure that it is super quick drying. 30 minutes beside a fire in a local pub and I was dry and ready to go again.

Four hours out in solid sideways rain and gusting winds and water ingress was minimal to non existent (it was my boots that failed) and this includes wearing it on the motorbike to and from my walk location. For the price point this set is superb and you won’t find better!!
