Bought this one for my partner and we are blown away at how good it is in bad weather. Stacks up against some of the serious foul weather gear we have ,which comes at a much higher price tag. Plus it is super snuggly and does everything that a standard change robe does as well - but better. Couldn't recommend highly enough

Once again RED have really considered their kit requirements and made useful, practical and performance related improvements to an already great robe.
A now heavily saturated market means standing out can be difficult. However the added improvements and genuine considerations for what consumers actually need from their products has paid off and this robe is really great.
Its new 15,000hydrostatic head waterproof efficiency rating is what first stood out for me , when I saw that a new robe was being launched. It’s the same as many waterproof coats out there and means that you are protected to/from and during your chosen activity from the elements. Eliminating the problem of the cosy fluffy inner becoming heavily saturated and taking forever to dry again. A really valuable improvement.
Then there’s the extendable cuffs, peak hood and drawstring alteration system. All meaning you can wear this robe as a coat, use it as a weather defence or easily manoeuvre around underneath it when wanting to change for a swim.
Personally I was chuffed to get a waterproof warm and cosy robe just before having a baby as I now feel I’ve got that one last trick up my sleeve to help me get outside for short walks no matter the weather. I chose a medium size robe for this reason but could have had a small if not wanting to use it this way.
Looking forward to keeping both me and the little one dry and warm!
