Between Sizes?

The adaptable cuff of the EVO Pro makes sleeve length adjustable. Sizing down will give you a more fitted robe, but the shorter length will provide less coverage, particularly when changing. If wanting to change, we recommend the robe should be below the knee to protect modesty.

Size down for a more fitted robe and less emphasis on changing. Size up for a looser fit and longer length for better coverage.

Layered To Perfection

Our improved 15k/8k waterproof breathable outer fabric keeps the elements out and you snug and warm.. The outer recycled polyester layer uses PFC free DWR technology to keep water out. The waterproof membrane opens when warm to allow water vapour to escape, keeping you dry. The sherpa fleece with it's deep pile traps air, which improves insulation and feels super soft next to your skin.

EVO Pro: Outer Shell

Rated 15k waterproof and 8k breathable, the 2-layer EVO Pro outer shell features a waterproof membrane and PFC-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating, ensuring optimum water run-off.

Constructed in fully recycled polyester, this environmentally-conscious material is durable, highly packable and quick-drying – plus it looks and feels great, with a premium matte finish and high warmth-to-weight ratio.

EVO Pro: Lining

The EVO Pro's inner lining is constructed in super-cosy, moisture-wicking, luxurious 300gsm Sherpa fleece. This deep-pile lining is softer and warmer than typical fleeces, providing exceptional comfort and insulation.

The plush, fur-style texture feels incredibly comfortable next to the skin and wicks moisture away to help you dry off and stay warm after a session.

EVO Pro: Tailoring

The quality of a garment is evident in its construction, and put simply, we don’t cut our robes like other dry change robes. Our design team took inspiration from leading-edge technical apparel, and conversations with fashion and technical industry experts to create the improved EVO Pro design.

Pattern cutting was refined in our sample studio and measurements perfected to create a more fitted, technical appearance. For example, multiple panels in the new peaked hood create something perfectly fitting, adjustable, and with real-life use considerations first and foremost, so you stay warm and dry.

A hug in a coat

My husband suggested getting a coat each for Christmas, so I purchased two coats from RED. This coat is amazing first wear was in a wet soggy very windy dog field. I was so impressed at how warm, wind and rainproof the coat is, and the snuggly fleece lining is like wearing a beautiful light feather duvet. I specifically chose this coat, for the peak on the hood which is invaluable at stopping the rain getting on my glasses. I can now see where I’m going even in heavy downpours. Very happy with our purchase and well worth the money, treat yourself, you won’t be disappointed.

Best changing robe I’ve tried

I love this robe for lots of reasons but first and foremost it delivers on functionality. It keeps me warm and snug after a swim and it is easy to change out of my swimwear in it. The warmth is added to by it being super soft inside and wind proof outside. The pockets are a great size and the zipped pocket useful for stashing keys etc. the internal pouch is great for gloves etc but I prefer to stash a hot water bottle there for the post swim warm up. I also love that it’s not too oversized. I’m plus sized and a medium was perfect for my preferences - I hate a baggy arm and this was the perfect blend of space to move/change and have warm clothes beneath but not too baggy that you loose the warming effect. The dual zips are great too meaning I can drive/cycle without having to change coats. I’m really glad I went with Red for this essential kit for my winter swims - others I tried just didn’t compare for the warmth comfort and functionality.

Best change robe I own

I have a number of change robes all of which are in a similar price bracket from a range of manufacturers. The quality of the finish on the Red Alter Evo robe is exceptional. Very warm, I love it.
