Between sizes?

The adaptable cuff of the EVO PRO makes sleeve length adjustable. Sizing down will give you a more fitted robe, but the shorter length will provide less coverage, particularly when changing. If wanting to change, we recommend the robe should be below the knee to protect modesty. Size down for a more fitted robe and less emphasis on changing. Size up for a looser fit and longer length for better coverage.

Layered To Perfection

Our improved 15k/8k waterproof breathable outer fabric keeps the elements out and you snug and warm.. The outer recycled polyester layer uses PFC free DWR technology to keep water out. The waterproof membrane opens when warm to allow water vapour to escape, keeping you dry. The sherpa fleece with it's deep pile traps air, which improves insulation and feels super soft next to your skin.

EVO Pro: Outer Shell

Rated 15k waterproof and 8k breathable, the 2-layer EVO Pro outer shell features a waterproof membrane and PFC-free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating, ensuring optimum water run-off.

Constructed in fully recycled polyester, this environmentally-conscious material is durable, highly packable and quick-drying – plus it looks and feels great, with a premium matte finish and high warmth-to-weight ratio.

EVO Pro: Lining

The EVO Pro's inner lining is constructed in super-cosy, moisture-wicking, luxurious 300gsm Sherpa fleece. This deep-pile lining is softer and warmer than typical fleeces, providing exceptional comfort and insulation.

The plush, fur-style texture feels incredibly comfortable next to the skin and wicks moisture away to help you dry off and stay warm after a session.

The quality of a garment is evident in its construction, and put simply, we don’t cut our robes like other dry change robes. Our design team took inspiration from leading-edge technical apparel, and conversations with fashion and technical industry experts to create the improved EVO Pro design.

Pattern cutting was refined in our sample studio and measurements perfected to create a more fitted, technical appearance. For example, multiple panels in the new peaked hood create something perfectly fitting, adjustable, and with real-life use considerations first and foremost, so you stay warm and dry.

Well made, high quality and warm, buy it!

This is my second Robe from Red (first was high jacked by a family member)

So this is both a review and comparison to the older model.

I 'm a design and research nerd, and looked at many different brands before purchasing. Red not only seemed to have the most thoughtful design, but also many high ratings too. Doesn't hurt the robe is also extremely stylish.

Price may seem high, but it's evident that alot of thought and care went into designing this robe. The materials and zippers are top notch.

It's a well made piece of kit. It's warm and waterproof. I've worn this in the single digits with howling winds wearing just a t-shirt and sweat pants and felt completely insulated and dry.

The fleece lining is very soft and feels great against the skin, though I haven't used it after a swim yet so can't speak to if it's as effective when you are wet as was the previous model.

Slight re-design of the hood is excellent, the added brim is a great addition. In the cold or a snow/rain storm you really feel protected from the elements.

You will definitely appreciate the fleece lined hand pockets too.

Love having an external chest pocket which perfectly fits a phone, and the internal wallet pocket is very handy.

The addition of the perforations along the bottom interior of the coat is also a smart choice.

BOTTOM LINE: If you need a change robe, get this one, it does what it's supposed and looks great too!

On sizing, I've tried both the M and L. I'm 6'1 and not skinny,…

Excellent bit of kit

I've just spent the last week living with the Alter Ego Robe, its stood up against the Northumberland weather with ease. Its so warm I only needed a T-shirt underneath the robe when walking the dog and could not wait to undo it when entering shops or was it the pub? Its totally waterproof, windproof and believe me I was out in some strong rain and winds last week, its definitely my go to bit of kit for walking the dogs.
